We are always so quick to judge our experience. We have a body experience and jump to a conclusion that we are ill or need painkillers. Or perhaps we get sacked from our job and then assume this means we are not good enough. A curiosity for what’s within ourselves is dulled for many of us, functioning more or less from a head place that critiques our experiences and then reaches for the medicine cabinet. If we were to enquire and explore our world and ourselves with an open, curious attitude rather than certainty, we might discover a truly magical field of consciousness that is constantly unfolding and mirroring itself within and around us. So what stops us trusting in the power of our bodies and our experience? Is it the voices of our parents, our teachers, our culture or even the pain we experience when we see the world in us? It’s good to recognise that so much holds us back sometimes, and sometimes its just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. If we couldn’t exist in that world, we couldn’t acknowledge that challenges are important and difficult. Our fear of losing ourselves, getting swamped in the ocean of awareness or not liking what we see, these are just some of the very valid, invaluable fears that with exploration can lead us back home. In essence, everything has levels of validity, and this increases when explored.

So what happens when we don’t move into a curious relationship with ourselves? Well if it’s part of our path to explore this relationship (this is not everyone’s path), invariably it shouts so loudly at us that we can’t ignore it. The ‘disturbances’ in our life increase, strange things start happening to us – sometimes really strange things - and we get unusual symptoms that can’t be diagnosed. Perhaps something that’s been bugging us for ages is constantly being heard by ourselves in our conversation. A dominant attitude in our world is to repress the unexpected, our mistakes, stuff that happens that doesn’t go along with the plan or what is deemed correct and proper. When it happens we have a voice inside that says ‘you idiot, what a huge mistake you’ve made’.

But what if we were to listen and trust that whatever is happening is on some level perfect – while also, on another level, completely imperfect. Is it possible for something to perfect and imperfect at the same time? Even if we couldn’t see it right there and then, and even if it didn’t ‘feel’ perfect, what if at a deeper, inherent level in us we just ‘knew’ that it was perfect? How would that attitude change our life? If you could then make a practise out of it would you love the disturbances as the zigs and zags that unfold into something special with time. Could you, would you love them more than the castle towers because you would see the beauty in the darkness – a rare quality in a world which prefers to polarise, marginalise and reject the negative.

So how would we begin this journey? Perhaps by consciously exploring our internal and external world. We might ask for our body to show us a signal, let the tao within our body flow internally. We might experience something internal that we dislike, but we would be willing to know more and go deeper, we would be open to inhabiting the motivation and intention behind what’s happening. We would invite ourselves to be with it rather than resist and fight it. And if we felt the resistance and fight, we would invite this deeper as part of the story and message. If we receive a visual image or picture, out of the blue, then we might invite the field to unfold that. We might experience strong sensations, a need to move in a certain way or an inability to control a certain way of moving. The field’s message might come in the guise of a chance utterance from a friend we just happen to run into, or the lyrics to a song you hear that hits a cord, or the next advert you see, or the surprise appearance of noticing the moon and sun in the sky at the same time, or an awareness that comes to you as you are lazily lying in bed in the morning, or a feeling that overwhelms you. We would work to establish and enhance this kind of connection to our environment and ourselves which strongly grounds us in consensus reality, but also allows us to integrate the world of the dreaming, illusionary field of oneness, to see it as part of our experience. From this might slowly spring a deeper sense of responsibility which knows that we are always intricately interdependent.

In contemporary therapy circles, a common expoused belief is that we manifest disease in the body because of something we are doing wrong, that we then of course need to do right in order for the body to heal. I like to believe that our soul expresses important messages to us through disease. Disease, when seen in this way, is the body’s means of self-healing. The personal metaphorical message that lie beneath disease is the key to what the person needs. Symptoms then turn into the medicine. What is the soul trying to achieve?

To access this deeper knowledge, residing within, we can use metaphor and story, process and amplification, until the message becomes clear. Once the message is in our conscious awareness, the body can often heal. Although of course, the soul’s aim is not to heal the body, but to use the body as a means of messenger to the person within.

Society conditions us to go out there and make things happen, take the bull by the horns and take control of our lives. Simplistically interpreted, spiritual writings from not that far back talk of us being agents of our lives, to not let life happen to us. Of course its helpful to not get sucked into thinking that life happens to us. But neither is it useful to believe that life happens by us. The more we believe we are in control in our lives, the more we feel out of control. Life has a funny way of showing us that. But then its not life, as separate from us, that is showing us that, its us showing it to ourselves.

Life happens through us and ultimately we come to realise we ARE life. Accepting where we are at and seeing the learnings on a deeper level becomes deeply fulfilling and powerfully releasing. Rather than trying to make headway in our lives, believing that action is required to kickstart getting more of what we want, perhaps its wiser than we just stop trying and trust.

Trust requires us to wait for the invitation. Waiting for the invitation in a practical sense means we are waiting for others to recognise our worth and value or we are waiting for the ripe time. Some of us are learning this, to feel the right time, to let things grow from seed to fruit (think of our seasons). On a deeper level, some of us are learning that through the waiting, even if it be years, we are developing an unbreakable trust in the universe and the power of our waiting and patience. Some of us have to wait a very long time to get what we want. Through this we discover that we have all we want right here right now. That’s a big discovery. Resign yourself to waiting, then love the waiting, then discover what’s within the waiting. In the meantime, clear the junk from your life that is not serving you. Make the space.

If you are born to manifest your way through the world, and some of us are, then this won’t resonate with you. Usually its the thing you find the hardest that you are here to learn. Remember there is not one truth for everyone and what works for you will not and is not meant to work for someone else.

Its a funny business, this ascension… I think a lot of the spiritual folk out there think it will just happen one day, that the world will wake up enlightened. Unfortunately, its not that easy. Ascension is something that requires us to go through rites of passages, intitations, life upheaval, dismantling of the ego, emotional turnmoil and lots more besides. We are leaving our karma behind. Karma which is accrued over hundreds of lifetimes. How can we think its going to be walk in the park? Now we need more than a bit of psychotherapy to solve what is being brought to us. Its simply not about processing now, its about release, and release on a mass scale. We haven’t the time to process it either. While its been made easier to move through it, with powerful new healing and karmic release techniques available, the speed at which we are being asked to move at and the amount we are being asked to shift feels overwhelming. But there is really no need to hurry, hurry is a human condition. The most important thing is to stay calm, express love in each and every moment.

The good news is that once you know what’s happening, why its happening, how to manage it and what you have to look forward to, you can just choose to relax into everything that life throws at you. This doesn’t necessary mean you will experience the deep transformational changes lightly - I don’t think much can save us from that - but it does mean that you are not resisting the changes and you are flowing with source and your own soul.

Not wanting to completely blow your minds, but so you can get a feel of the magnitude of the current changes the human race is going through… we are evolving into be-ings that will be living with extra DNA strands, telepathic communication (mobiles will be no longer), access to spiritual realms way beyond that of our higher self and some of us women will be bringing in Goddesses! In short we are looking at a completely different future and the changes will be unprecedented, coming thick and fast over the next three years and beyond.

I have been unconsciously and now consciously doing my own ascension work for over 5 years. I work with karmic release and the Karmic Board with poweful channelled meditations that heal, activate and align your hundreds of chakras, energy bodies, templates, energy transformers, selfs (Inner Child through to Goddess Self) among many other things. This is how complex we are as humans and we are only just beginning to discover the depths of our true potential… Its exciting times now and ahead.

Some of us who have a belief in a a guiding essence like to hold a belief in coincidences and synchronisities. I agree that through these the divine communicates with us, shows us the path and direction, and that everything is on track. They are like signposts along the way.

However, the confusion starts when we begin to place our own interpretation on these coincidences and try and derive our own meaning from them. When we start to invest our egos, wanting to find a particular meaning, we can get led astray. Although even being led astray is perfect too, as from this you then learn not to be led astray next time. My point is, when something happens that causes us to stop and think abd admire the beauty of the universe, rather than madly trying to work out the meaning, just detach.

It is helpful to not make assumptions - as processes unravel, meaning unfolds. Outcomes in mind, and fixed ideas of what we think will happen (no matter what place this comes from) cause distress. They only keep us living in expectation and pull us out of the moment. Truth always shows itself if you remain open to whatever being the perfect, divine outcome for you. But allow your ‘knowing’ to relax, allow your need to know to let go, stay curious and stay open. The lesson will be gentler and quicker. Resistance to the truth causes the suffering. Be open to anything, no matter how scary it feels. Within the fear is your freedom. Hold on to that.

Many people go about their lives trying to find their purpose. Frustrated, feeling purposeless, feeling restless without their raison d’etre. But shouldn’t purpose just find you? In my own experience, I have seen purpose as synonymous with passion and meaning. But I acknowledge that this is not the experience of everyone. I have learnt that some people just do not experience a sense of ‘external’ purpose. And this is perfectly fine, and perhaps the greatest thing of all, as perhaps these people as being guided towards a deeper sense of what purpose is for them. The world would say though, that they are ’missing something’.

But why do we seek purpose in the first place anyway? Why the external purpose? We seek purpose because we believe that if we have a sense of purpose, we will feel full of life, energised in every moment. We believe we will awaken every morning with a sense of internal approval and validation. So this begs the questions can purpose be culitvated? Perhaps our real purpose is about having an inner purpose to awaken, and awaken to this inner purpose. Would this perhaps be a common purpose uniting us all? Seeing purpose as inwardly rather than outwardly driven, we begin to free ourselves from a dependence on the external world. Through our own awakening - our own inner purpose of self-realisation, the outer purpose proves irrelevant. For some, their path is one of realisation that outer purpose manifests only from a space within. Or perhaps more accurately put; with the inner awakening your vacuum becomes filled and you stop trying to fill it outwards in - bliss.

I am predicting that this is going to be the newest coolest way of living in not to distant future. In some countries they are already practising this, more of less most of time - mainly because of course they have no choice. Over here though, in our western world of fads and materialism, we are doing everything we can to not live our present lives out.

Reality based living is just that. We live based on what is happening here and now. Not what is going to happen, what has happened, what might happen, what should or should not be happening. This means looking at what we have in front of us and accepting it as real, that it is our experience and that is perfect as it is. Rejecting or resisting our reality is a way of avoiding the present as a gift to our understanding of ourselves and everything around us. Regrets, guilts and even anger are all ways we resist the present moment. Thinking it should be or should have been some other way.

A different way to live, which holds far less suffering, is to confront our reality head on, face ourselves and ask what is it that we are refusing to acknowledge. Once we face this, once we see what we are refusing to accept, our soul moves into alignment with our experience and we can truly become empowered in our experience. We then see that every living being, every living thing is divine, there to show us our current self, our current reality, if we chose to accept it. We no longer reject those that point out the truth, but embrace it as bringing us into a harmonious relationship with our souls. Once we see how darn clever our reality really is, it becomes full of meaning. Life becomes full of meaning. We see that the only thing ever in control is our souls, which we can align with or not. I guess it then comes down to which experience is easier. Reality avoiding or reality living. The truth is the truth, whether you like it or not. Why not then align with your reality and make friends with truth.

Spiritual healing naturally occurs as part of a session. Healing can be hands on, through words or combined with voice or sound healing.

When we want our lives to be transformed and feel the nudge to change and to move forward with our lives, it is this very intention which begins to kick start the healing process. Healing begins with your willingness to experience healing.

Healing occurs all the time. Through the conversations we have with our friends and co-workers, through the touch on someone’s arm, through just a look or someone’s presence. Everyone does it, we all do it in different ways, and we all have our own part to play in healing each other.

Healing takes place through releasing blocked energy. Yawning, sighing, laughing, crying, shouting, screaming, running, tapping, moving, swimming, walking, talking, holding, singing, shaking, slapping and as children often do, stamping - all have a place and are essential to our wellbeing.

So what sets spiritual healing a part from all the other natural means that we release and heal? With spiritual healing you are letting a higher power give it a go. You are allowing yourself to trust in something larger than yourself, you are effectively saying, “I don’t have all the answers, so show me what you can do.” Our abdication of ultimate power and control over our lives is sometimes all what is needed.
